The approach

What is Iron Stops?

Iron Stops is described as a Gold breakout system that looks for accelerating volume. Position size can depend on balance and stop distance, or use a manual volume. The listing includes a floating-loss control and specifies a single XAUUSD chart. Its historical testing instructions require an author-supplied configuration, so a generic tester run should not be assumed to reproduce the publisher’s setup.

What to look for

Review the input data, the selected timeframe and the position sizing behaviour. Keep any missing performance evidence visible; the absence of a usable public record is not evidence of either strong or weak returns.

YO4X editorial review points. The publisher’s original EA and the implementation available inside YO4X can differ in features, configuration and execution.

Examine participation around a level break.

The reference describes a Gold volume-breakout approach on M30 with position sizing and drawdown controls. Volume-related observations depend on the data available from the broker. Increased activity near a level may be informative without establishing that the following movement must continue.

Iron Stops questions

Can volume readings differ between brokers?

They can. The available feed and the way activity is represented can affect what a strategy observes. Compare the actual data environment used for your evaluation.

Is Iron Stops free in YO4X?

Local strategy access is included at no charge in the YO4X Windows app. This is separate from buying the original MQL5 product or subscribing to the author’s signal. Check the app’s availability and demo-account requirements before starting.

Are the performance figures live YO4X results?

No. No verified account figures are published on this page. Your settings, broker and implementation can produce different results.

Where are the author’s manual and updates?

The original product listing and available guidance links are collected below. A private or purchase-only manual remains subject to the publisher’s access terms; we have not presented it as a YO4X manual.

Can I upload any EX5 file to YO4X?

Arbitrary EX5 uploads are not supported. MQ5 source compatibility analysis is a separate workflow from the included strategy catalogue. Read about strategy imports.
