The approach

What is GoldenShot?

GoldenShot describes two Gold approaches: pullback and momentum. They share a one-position limit but use distinct exit profiles, with additional rapid-failure handling for the pullback strategy. The publisher describes market entries rather than resting breakout orders and no recovery basket. Comparing the two modules requires their separate trade identifiers and stop settings, not only the combined result shown by the account.

What to look for

Check which approach created each order and compare the corresponding stop and target configuration. Avoid combining their trade histories into one conclusion before examining how each approach behaved.

YO4X editorial review points. The publisher’s original EA and the implementation available inside YO4X can differ in features, configuration and execution.

How to interpret this snapshot

Profit factor compares gross profit with gross loss. Equity includes unrealised positions; balance reports booked results. The source’s growth calculation can differ from profit divided by its initial deposit, particularly when money moves into or out of the account.

The first signal linked in our source record is shown consistently; it is not selected as the best performer. Accounts, modes and versions may differ. We have not reconstructed a historical curve from summary totals.

Distinguish the setup from its exit profile.

This entry describes two Gold approaches with individual stop and target profiles. A pullback setup and a momentum setup can enter for different reasons even when they share the same instrument. Their exit distances also affect how a position behaves once it is open.

The publisher targets testing from 2025 onward and questions the quality of earlier history.

GoldenShot questions

Why review stop and target settings separately?

The entry determines when a trade begins, while the exits determine how it can finish. Two similar entries may have different loss sizes, holding times and outcomes under different exit profiles.

Is GoldenShot free in YO4X?

Local strategy access is included at no charge in the YO4X Windows app. This is separate from buying the original MQL5 product or subscribing to the author’s signal. Check the app’s availability and demo-account requirements before starting.

Are the performance figures live YO4X results?

No. The figures shown are a dated public MQL5 account snapshot checked on 17 September 2026. Your settings, broker and implementation can produce different results.

Where are the author’s manual and updates?

The original product listing and available guidance links are collected below. A private or purchase-only manual remains subject to the publisher’s access terms; we have not presented it as a YO4X manual.

Can I upload any EX5 file to YO4X?

Arbitrary EX5 uploads are not supported. MQ5 source compatibility analysis is a separate workflow from the included strategy catalogue. Read about strategy imports.
