The approach

What is Cepheus?

Cepheus describes two Gold engines with separate entry and execution rules. Discipline targets intraday momentum and breakouts; Loyalty focuses on broader structure and swings. The publisher includes broker-side exits, news protection and a shared risk budget allocated between engines. Disabling an engine can redistribute that budget, so changing the active lineup does not necessarily leave the remaining engine’s exposure unchanged.

What to look for

Keep the selected engine and protection settings visible in your evaluation notes. Check how each responds when spreads widen, prices reverse or the connection is interrupted.

YO4X editorial review points. The publisher’s original EA and the implementation available inside YO4X can differ in features, configuration and execution.

How to interpret this snapshot

Profit factor compares gross profit with gross loss. Equity includes unrealised positions; balance reports booked results. The source’s growth calculation can differ from profit divided by its initial deposit, particularly when money moves into or out of the account.

The first signal linked in our source record is shown consistently; it is not selected as the best performer. Accounts, modes and versions may differ. We have not reconstructed a historical curve from summary totals.

Keep engine behaviour distinguishable.

The reference describes two engines named Discipline and Loyalty with separate execution protections. Engine names provide a way to organise the configuration; they do not describe a guaranteed outcome. Trend and momentum behaviour should be examined using the actual entries, exits and activity record.

Cepheus questions

Why keep engine-level records?

A combined result can hide differences in frequency, exposure and holding time. Separate records make it easier to relate observed behaviour to the engine and configuration being evaluated.

Is Cepheus free in YO4X?

Local strategy access is included at no charge in the YO4X Windows app. This is separate from buying the original MQL5 product or subscribing to the author’s signal. Check the app’s availability and demo-account requirements before starting.

Are the performance figures live YO4X results?

No. The figures shown are a dated public MQL5 account snapshot checked on 17 September 2026. Your settings, broker and implementation can produce different results.

Where are the author’s manual and updates?

The original product listing and available guidance links are collected below. A private or purchase-only manual remains subject to the publisher’s access terms; we have not presented it as a YO4X manual.

Can I upload any EX5 file to YO4X?

Arbitrary EX5 uploads are not supported. MQ5 source compatibility analysis is a separate workflow from the included strategy catalogue. Read about strategy imports.
