Lizard is an XAUUSD Expert Advisor built around six concurrent swing-breakout strategies on the hourly chart. The publisher describes pending stop entries around structural highs and lows, with separate risk weights, identifiers and exit settings for each component. Its balance-dependent strategy activation is particularly important: increasing an account balance can change which components run, so performance before and after that change may describe different portfolio behaviour.
The description divides activity into zones: one group runs up to a stated $1,000 balance boundary, and another group becomes available above it. Before comparing accounts, record both the risk preset and the enabled group. A deposit can alter the active mix even if no obvious input was changed. Review each strategy’s magic number to relate trades to the correct component, then inspect combined Gold volume during periods when several structural levels break together.
Pending entries and layered exits
The publisher describes initial protective stops and targets followed by break-even, trailing and software-managed exit functions. A pending order is not yet a position, but it represents potential exposure. Include all triggerable orders when considering what could happen during a sharp move. Check whether daily-close cleanup removes the intended pending instructions and how broker-visible stops interact with virtual exits. Terminal continuity matters for software-managed actions even when some protective orders already exist at the broker.
Historical hour filters need forward observation
Lizard uses time filtering derived from historical profitability and a filter around US employment news. A historically weak hour can later behave differently, and an excluded hour can affect how representative an account sample is. Keep the broker-time conversion and filter version in the test record. Review losses within the accepted windows as carefully as the rejected periods. The daily-loss setting is another control to inspect directly: establish its reset time and treatment of floating positions before relying on it.

Lizard EA: tester demo and licence options
MQL5 provides tester-only demonstrations for Market EAs and indicators. Open the original listing to check its demo option. An EA demo runs its trading logic in the Strategy Tester; an indicator demo is viewed in visual testing mode. This is different from receiving a free licence to run the full product on an online chart.
For Lizard EA, use the setup notes above to identify what the tester can demonstrate and what still requires a supported account, data source or publisher guidance. Read MQL5’s product-testing rules ↗

Free local access. Clear product terms.
YO4X offers free local access to its supported strategy catalogue through the Windows app on supported MT5 demo accounts. This research page does not confirm that Lizard EA is included or compatible.
A free full-product licence is not confirmed here for Lizard EA. Check the publisher’s current purchase, rental or tester options on MQL5. YO4X does not distribute the publisher’s EX5 file from this page.
Ask support about current app availability before choosing a strategy. Arbitrary EX5 uploads are not supported; cloud execution and brokerage costs are separate.
The publisher describes balance-based activation of strategy zones. A balance change can therefore affect which components operate. Keep that event in your performance notes and compare the same active group before attributing a change in trade frequency to market conditions alone.
Does every position have the same exit logic?
The description gives each strategy its own stop, target and trailing configuration. Review trades at component level as well as account level. A combined result can hide one component’s longer holding periods or larger losses behind another component’s frequent small wins.
