Frontier MT5 EA

Frontier MT5 uses completed swing highs and lows to prepare Gold breakout orders. The publisher describes percentage-based sizing, predefined exits and a fixed trailing stop, rather than averaging into a losing position.

Frontier MT5 EA research guide

How Frontier MT5 is described by its publisher

A Buy Stop or Sell Stop waits for price to cross a qualified pivot. That makes the distance between the pending order, protective stop and actual fill central to the outcome. Changing risk can update an unfilled order without resizing a position that is already open. The distinction matters when testing adjustments during an active session.

Evaluating Frontier MT5 in practice

A completed pivot is different from a temporary intrabar high or low. For a useful Frontier observation, note the bar that established the level, when the pending order first appeared and whether later price action replaced it. This produces a record of the decision before the breakout, rather than a retrospective selection of attractive swings. The source’s entry-fill protection is especially relevant when a gap moves the executable price away from the planned trigger.

Percentage risk depends on the stop distance and contract specification as well as the account value. Compare the calculated volume with a manual calculation on the same Gold symbol; a suffix or different tick value can change that result. Then examine a trailing-stop exit separately from an initial protective-stop exit. A position closed by the trail may capture only part of a larger move, which is expected and should not be judged by the highest price visible later.

The two publisher-linked accounts have different starting scales. Keep each account’s deposit history, chosen risk and observation dates together. Combining the larger account’s cash profit with the smaller account’s deposit would create a meaningless return comparison.

Frontier MT5 EA: tester demo and licence options

MQL5 provides tester-only demonstrations for Market EAs and indicators. Open the original listing to check its demo option. An EA demo runs its trading logic in the Strategy Tester; an indicator demo is viewed in visual testing mode. This is different from receiving a free licence to run the full product on an online chart.

For Frontier MT5 EA, use the setup notes above to identify what the tester can demonstrate and what still requires a supported account, data source or publisher guidance. Read MQL5’s product-testing rules ↗

Frontier MT5 EA questions

Why can a Frontier order fill beyond its swing level?

A pending stop becomes executable when the market reaches its trigger, but that trigger is not a guaranteed transaction price. During a fast Gold move, the next available price can be worse. Compare the requested entry, actual fill and initial protective distance together; the resulting loss budget may differ from the amount calculated before the breakout.
