ATstrong research guide

Structure signals and projected targets

The indicator groups swing pivots into support and resistance zones and marks breaks or changes of character. ATR buffering sets a proposed stop, with five risk-multiple target projections. Those drawings support a manual decision; spread, fills and position sizing are outside a chart-level hit count.

Confirmation choices affect interpretation

The listing promotes candle-close confirmation but also documents a Close or Wick input. Keep the chosen setting visible when evaluating signal timing. A claimed non-repainting display is a publisher claim, not a substitute for forward observation of alerts as bars form.

ATstrong: tester demo and licence options

MQL5 provides tester-only demonstrations for Market EAs and indicators. Open the original listing to check its demo option. An EA demo runs its trading logic in the Strategy Tester; an indicator demo is viewed in visual testing mode. This is different from receiving a free licence to run the full product on an online chart.

For ATstrong, use the setup notes above to identify what the tester can demonstrate and what still requires a supported account, data source or publisher guidance. Read MQL5’s product-testing rules ↗

ATstrong questions

Does ATstrong execute its targets?

No. The listing explicitly describes manual analysis. Projected price levels and alerts do not place or manage brokerage orders.

Is its dashboard profit factor a live account metric?

It is described as indicator signal analytics. Do not treat it as realised brokerage performance with costs included.
